Botox
Botox – botulinum toxin type A – is a protein produced by the bacterium Clostridum botulinum, which in refined form prevents the release of the acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction – the main cause of mimic wrinkles. Botox is currently one of the most popular treatments of aesthetic medicine. Botox is profoundly examined in terms of patient’s safety by many independent institutions.
What is the treatment based on?
During the treatment we inject botulinum toxin into chosen places on patient’s face or neck. This method is minimally invasive, patients don’t have to change their day routine or plan any recuperation. The treatment is practically painless. After the treatment patients should avoid physical effort and pressure changes. Effects can be seen after a few days and, depending on skin’s condition, can last for up to 6 months. The treatment can be repeated every few months.
For whom?
For everyone who wants to smooth out wrinkles and reduce effects of ageing process. It concerns mostly people who have rich facial expression and mimic wrinkles can be seen on their faces earlier.

Carboxymethyl cellulose
Carboxymethyl cellulose is a bio-filler, derivative of cellulose, which is used similarly as hyaluronic acid. It hydrates skin, activates regenerative processes and rebuilds damaged tissues. It’s widely used in medicine, not only aesthetic medicine. Because of its plant origin it’s neutral to our organism, doesn’t cause allergies or side effects. It effects longer because of lack of a natural enzyme which degrades this substance in our organism. It is mostly used when patients react poorly on hyaluronic acid but also in areas where we want to achieve a stronger three-dimensional effect.
What is the treatment based on?
Carboxymethyl cellulose is injected into dermis or under-skin tissues. Next the skin is massaged. Redness or swelling are the only side effects but they disappear within 24 hours.
For whom?
For people who noticed symptoms of akin ageing – worse hydration, defects and therefore deformation of facial features.

Lipotransfer
Lipotransfer is a novelty on the Polish market of aesthetic medicine. It is a method of immediate face modelling (or other body parts) without scalpel. The treatment is performer using patient’s own fat which is drawn from body parts which have excess of fat and it is injected to parts which need a correction. Currently it is the best alternative for silicone fillings. This method is very safe.
What is the treatment based on?
During treatment we draw fat from particular body parts, which are anaesthetized, and we process this fat. The prepared fat is injected into places which need modelling. Effect is very natural.
Before treatment while talking to a patient I settle a detailed plan, choose areas from which fat will be drawn and those which will be corrected. The treatment lasts about 3 hours. The treated areas are red and swollen and healing process lasts about 7 days. Final effect can be seen after a month.
For whom?
I recommend this treatment for everyone who wants to model chosen parts of their face and body using the safest and the most natural filler. It can be used to reduce unnecessary body fat and simultaneously to correct cheek bones or facial contours, to reduce sunken parts or to smoothen back of the hands.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
Treatments with platelet-rich plasma use mechanisms connected with growth factors which activate regenerative processes and activate their own stem cells. I use plasma in my authorial methods in both – aesthetic medicine and medical rehabilitation. Platelet-rich plasma consists of three types of protein – fibryn, fibronectin and vitronectin, thanks to which damaged cells regenerate themselves. These are natural cells and blood proteins sourced from a patient so allergic and immunological reactions are eliminated.
What is the treatment based on?
After anamnesis, during which I define areas where plasma should be used, we collect a small amount of blood. Then blood is subjected to process leading to obtain a dozen millilitres of proper plasma. Next this preparation is injected into areas determined earlier.
For whom?
This method can be used for firming, hydrating and rejuvenating skin all over the body. Skin’s texture and colouration are improved. All inflammations are reduced. This method is appropriate for people who are allergic to components of other preparations used by similar treatments. It is also used in injury treatment.

Chemical peelings
Chemical peelings are one of the most popular treatments of aesthetic medicine. They help to keep youthful look, fresh complexion and remove signs of fatigue when they are regularly repeated. They are also used to treat acne and acne scars and also to even out skin’s structure and tone. In chemical peelings organic acids, chosen in accordance with patient’s problems, are active substances. They have to be used with appropriate intensity and mixture.
What is the treatment based on?
Active substances are adapted to skin’s needs of a particular patient. During the treatment we put a proper preparation on patient’s skin and, after a specific time, we clean it appropriately. The treatment doesn’t require any preparation or recuperation. It is important to use chemical peelings in professional doctor’s offices under the supervision of an aesthetic medicine specialist because bad choice of components or wrong concentration can damage the skin irretrievably. After the treatment skin shouldn’t be exposed to sun and it should be moisturized. Make-up can be put after 24 hours. Effects can be seen straight away or after a few days – it depends on preparations used and skin’s condition.
For whom?
The treatment is advised for people with spots and acne complexion but also for those who have acne scars. It is also used to clean out the skin from blackheads, to ease steatorrhea skin or to minimize pores. It helps to remove hyperpigmentation and damages (resulting from excessive tanning – photo-ageing of skin). These peelings can reduce shallow wrinkles and firm skin by boosting natural regenerative processes.

PDO lifting and thickening threads (surgical – completely absorbable)
Lifting threads rejuvenate the skin without surgery. Not only they smoothen and rejuvenate the skin but also can be used to modify shape of the face, for example brow ridges or cheek bones. They are also used in cleavage, bust, stomach, shoulders, buttocks or legs. This method stimulates collagen production and improves skin flexibility which gives long-lasting and naturally-looking effects. I use two types of threads – thickening and multi-hooked.
What is the treatment based on?
After the chosen area is anaesthetized, I put in threads using special needles. The treatment lasts 30 minutes up to an hour. After the treatment the area can be bruised. After using multi-hooked threads the skin can be wrinkled at first – this will change after a week or two. The final effect can last up to 18 months. Thickening threads create regional inflammation. It causes cells to gather in the certain area, threads are covered with skin cells and, as a result, skin is thickened.
For whom?
The treatment is intended for people who would like to smooth out wrinkles, improve skin’s flexibility, even out facial contours or correct body shape without surgical intervention.

Aesthetic gynaecology
Aesthetic gynaecology treatments can improve the quality of sexual life but also general efficiency and life quality. They can also be a part of vaginosis prevention. In my office I conduct many treatments of this kind, some with fractional laser and some with hyaluronic acid.
What is the treatment based on?
Most of the treatments are non-invasive and they do not require any special preparation or further recuperation. Effect can be felt several days after the treatment.
In the case of treating urine incontinence of little and medium intensity we use fractional laser. Laser’s ray penetrates tissues and stimulates production of collagen and hyaluronic acid. It causes the cells to constrict and elasticise and, as a result, to change urethra’s pitch which solves the problem.
Fractional laser is also used to constrict vagina.
Hyaluronic acid is essential while correcting major labia. Their enlarging is not only more esthetical but also more hygienic because more open vaginal vestibule is more susceptible to infections. The same applies to vaginal dryness treatment – smaller amount of vaginal lubrication not only decreases the quality of sexual intercourses, but also increase susceptibility to scrapes and micro-damages which are the cause of more frequent infections.
The last treatment using hyaluronic acid is G-spot correction. It improves the quality of sexual intercourses and, thanks to this, sexual life satisfaction.
For whom?
For all women who would like to correct their intimate zones, who have problems with urine incontinence, vaginal dryness or frequent infections.

Disulfiram (disulfiramum)
Disulfiram is an organic chemical compound used in so called ‘aversive therapy’ in alcohol addiction. It influences metabolism of ethanol. It is some kind of a ‘bugbear’ for a patient.
What is the treatment based on?
The substance is put under the skin surgically and it is constantly released to organism. In most cases it is tolerated really well. However, it changes dramatically when the substance has contact with alcohol. In such cases disulfiram evokes nausea, vomits, headaches, dyspnoea, abnormal heart rhythm. It can also lead to liver and heart damages or vision loss. A patient should be afraid of these consequences and shouldn’t drink alcohol. Disulfiram cannot replace rehab. However, it is often used as one if its elements.
For whom?
For people who have problems with alcohol and decided on a rehab.
